My desire to constantly expand my knowledge base and my passion for helping others are qualities that have contributed to both my personal and professional development. However, there were other qualities, such as self-doubt, low self-confidence, and poor decision making that prevented me from living the life that I was designed to live. I believe that everyone has what it takes to be successful. However, everyone is not ready for the sacrifices that accompany next level success. If you have a desire to get to the next level, you must be ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead. Moreover, you must not succumb to the small voice that constantly tells you that you are inadequate. Are you ready for the next level? Below are 3 signs that confirm that you are next level ready:
1. You are willing to move out of your comfort zone (being nervous is normal)
2. You are willing to invest the time, money, and commitment required for next level success
3. You are willing to let go of the people and habits that do not add value to your life
If you are not ready right now, it is not too late to become next level ready! Until next time…

I truly believe that it is important move to out of your comfort zone often. However, I have not always felt this way. In fact, for many years I ran away from challenges and denied that I needed to make changes in certain areas of my life. I denied that I needed to make changes, because it gave me an excuse to remain in my comfort zone. What I have found is that my greatest accomplishments happened only after I took a leap of faith. Was it difficult for me to push beyond my fears and write a book that shared my deepest secrets? Yes. Was I nervous and scared? Yes. However, if I had succumbed to my fears, I would not be able to help other women identify and address some of the pain and struggles that have been holding their happiness hostage.
Sometimes we fear failure. Many times I would be in situations where I remained in my comfort zone, because I imagined an ending that was awful. I thought that I could not accomplish what I had set out to accomplish. Fortunately, I was wrong. Pushing through your fears will show you that your belief about what you can accomplish is distorted. Pushing through your fears will undoubtedly make you a better person. Instead of imagining that you will fail, imagine that you cannot fail. Stop waiting for the easy button and move out of your comfort zone. This week I challenge you to push through your greatest fear. When your goal is reached, you will be glad that you stepped up and pushed through your fears. Until next week…..

When you decide to pursue a goal or a desire, you will be tested. For this reason, you will need to decide from the beginning that you refuse to walk away from your desire. You will also need to decide that you will win before the battle even begins. Are you willing to endure temporary discomfort as you pursue your dream, desire or goal? It is important to understand that success requires tenacity. As you strive to take your life to the next level, it is very likely that you will encounter obstacles and setbacks. You might even have thoughts of inadequacy and feel like giving up. Maybe you feel like you are putting forth effort, but you are not seeing the results that you had hoped. Sometimes impatience is simply a deterrent that takes your eyes off of your goal. Think about it, winners have a laser focus. Therefore, a single distraction can take you off course. I want you to know today that you have what it takes to win. In fact, you were designed to win. Do not settle for mediocrity. Dream big and affirm your strength. When you feel as though you have given all that you have to give, give some more. You have come too far to turn back now. With the right vision and the right plan, you are unstoppable. Revise your plan if you need to, but never abort your mission. This week I challenge you to get out there and pursue your greatest desire. You will always win, because you were designed to win! Until next week…..

Last week I discussed the importance of going beyond inspiration. It is great to be inspired. However, in order to make progress, you must take action. Please do not just read these quotes and be inspired. I challenge you to apply these inspirational quotes to your life and strive to grow and learn every single day.
These are 5 inspirational quotes to live by:

[custom_blockquote style=”red”]Stop letting people who do so little for you control so much of your mind, feelings & emotions. – Will Smith[/custom_blockquote]
[custom_blockquote style=”red”]People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
– Maya Angelou[/custom_blockquote]
[custom_blockquote style=”red”]The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

Have you ever been inspired by someone who has accomplished a goal that you would like to accomplish? Perhaps they reached their weight loss goal, went back to school or turned their passion into a business. Did you momentarily think about making a bold decision that would bring you closer to your goal but ultimately ended up talking yourself out of it? I cannot speak for you, but I have been there more times than I would like to admit. I would feel the urge and inspiration to act, but self-doubt and fear would step in. I would then begin asking the following questions: “How am I going to find the time or extra money to make it happen?” “Am I disciplined enough?” “Where do I begin?”
If you truly desire results, you must be willing to go beyond “being inspired.” In fact, you must be willing to work hard, move out of your comfort zone and act upon your desire. It is great to become inspired, but inspiration alone is not enough. Simply stated, if you want results, you must take action. Without action, it is very unlikely that you will make your dream a reality. Is there something that you have been dreaming about? This week, I challenge you to go beyond being inspired. In addition to setting a specific goal, set a specific time frame for accomplishing your goal. Do not wait until you believe that the time is right. In fact, the right time is “right now.” Decide that you will take action today. Until next week…..
