I truly believe that it is important move to out of your comfort zone often. However, I have not always felt this way. In fact, for many years I ran away from challenges and denied that I needed to make changes in certain areas of my life. I denied that I needed to make changes, because it gave me an excuse to remain in my comfort zone. What I have found is that my greatest accomplishments happened only after I took a leap of faith. Was it difficult for me to push beyond my fears and write a book that shared my deepest secrets? Yes. Was I nervous and scared? Yes. However, if I had succumbed to my fears, I would not be able to help other women identify and address some of the pain and struggles that have been holding their happiness hostage.

Sometimes we fear failure. Many times I would be in situations where I remained in my comfort zone, because I imagined an ending that was awful. I thought that I could not accomplish what I had set out to accomplish. Fortunately, I was wrong. Pushing through your fears will show you that your belief about what you can accomplish is distorted. Pushing through your fears will undoubtedly make you a better person. Instead of imagining that you will fail, imagine that you cannot fail. Stop waiting for the easy button and move out of your comfort zone. This week I challenge you to push through your greatest fear. When your goal is reached, you will be glad that you stepped up and pushed through your fears. Until next week…..
